Call for nominations and a reminder of the annual general meeting.
Nomination Call
Dear ESVP Members,
The Board have discussed Society process and decided to make the new elections to the Board on the basis of Board and member nominations. This year ESVP needs a new President and one Councillor, the latter preferably from Spain or Portugal (in order to maintain the balance of European countries represented on the Board).
We therefore kindly ask you to nominate suitable members to these positions. Make sure that the any colleagues you nominate agree to run for the position.
The Board will nominate Wolfgang Baumgärtner as President for ESVP 2015-2017.
I´m sorry for this late announcement, but we would like to have additional nominations by Tuesday September 1st, e-mailed to the Honorary Secretary, Ken Smith, ksmith@rvc.ac.uk for presentation at our next AGM in Helsinki.
