3rd Joint Webinar ESTP/SFPT/BSTP and ECVP/ESVP – Immune System
MeetingsWith the objective of continuous pathology education, the webinar committee, which consists of members from the ESTP, SFPT, ESVP, ECVP, BSTP, would like to invite you all to attend this year’s webinars. The first two joint webinars were well attended with over 200 participants. The first webinar this year will be held on May 7th focusing on the Immune System and will be free of charge as it is sponsored by ESTP, SFTP, BSTP and NVT. Other webinars are being discussed for June and October. MeetingsThe ECVP/ESVP Education Committee is organising the Summer School 2021 which will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, from Monday 12th July to Friday 23rd July 2021. The coronavirus pandemic makes planning particularly challenging and as not everyone will be able to travel, we have decided to organise a hybrid meeting. Most lectures will take place as online sessions (see further information). However, the mock exam in the second week will be offered to attendants on site only. MeetingsDear Colleagues, In view of the development of the coronavirus pandemic and the worldwide travel restrictions, the ECVP council, together with the Summer School organization committee and the local organizers have taken the decision to cancel the Summer School 2020. ESVP and ECVP Previous text (for the sake of completeness): Members who are interested, should complete the Summer School Registration Form and submit by Friday 27th March 2020. Please circulate this information to any colleagues to whom it may be of interest, who are not members of the ESVP. Stipends covering the registration fee (maximum of 10) will be available. To apply, please fill the Stipend Application and submit by Friday 20th March 2020. Zagreb is a distinctly central European city situated in the middle of the triangle of Vienna, Budapest, and Venice. It has always been and remains a part of the cultural circle of central Europe. Zagreb is a city with a tradition of almost one thousand years. Zagreb University was founded in the 17th century. As the capital of Croatia, Zagreb lives a rich cultural life, with more than 20 theatres, 3 concert halls, around 60 museums, and art galleries. It is a big center of congress tourism, economic and business events, and trade fairs not only in Croatia but also in this part of Europe. We could summarize the impressions of the growing number of foreigners who visit Zagreb in one sentence: a city of a million inhabitants that has managed to stay romantic, clean, and which offers visitors pleasant walks and enjoyment in a city full of parks and pedestrian zones.

This seminar will be dedicated to gastrointestinal biopsies and in particular to their clinico-pathological correlations. We will have the pleasure to welcome on this occasion specialists on these subjects, Drs Valérie Freiche (ENVA, Paris, France), Simon Priestnall (Royal Veterinay College, London) and Michael D.
