Classic Examples in Toxicologic Pathology XXXIII

The final program for Classic Examples XXXIII is now available on the European Society of Toxicologic Pathology (ESTP) homepage. The program is published together with the official announcement, registration details, and additional meeting information. In addition to the scientific program, the meeting will feature a get-together and poster session on Thursday evening, offering snacks, beverages, and an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends. Announcement of 2nd module of “Toxicologic Pathology Training Program”

The current cycle of the “Toxicologic Pathology Training Program” has started this year in May with the “Introduction into ToxicologicPathology”. This program was launched 20 years ago at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (Germany) to give ECVP residents an insight into the diversified and fascinating field of toxicopathology. The current modules will take place not only in Hannover but also in other European countries as hybrid events to expand the scope of the program. Moreover, interested students can participate online free of charge. The second module was organized in cooperation with the University of Barcelona (Spain) and will take place at the 17th October 2025. The expert speakers are coming from the pharmaceutical industry or contract research institutes and will give an overview about the “Pathology of Laboratory Animals and Animal Models of Medical Research”. The third module at the 7th-8th November 2025 will cover the toxicopathology of the hepatobiliary system. Moreover, a comprehensive mock session will be included in this module to provide an opportunity to prepare for the Comprehensive Pathology part of the ECVP exam. 23rd ESTP congress 2026 in Krakow

We are pleased to announce that registration for the ECVP-ESVP Summer School 2025 is now open! This year, the Summer School will take place in Liverpool (UK), from Monday 20 July until Friday 01 August 2025. You can find further details regarding the event and to complete your registration at this link: https://www.ecvpath.org/summer-school-general-information The ESVP is able to sponsor a small number of stipends covering the registration fee (€420) for participants whose financial circumstances make it difficult to attend the event in person without further financial support. This financial support is reserved to registered ESVP members: this is one of the many good reasons to become a member of the ESVP! This training will be dedicated to Orthopedic Pathology of Companion Animals, and we will have the pleasure of welcoming Professor Dr. Brian Murphy (UC Davis, USA) as well as Dr. Adeline Decambron, (Clinique Vétérinaire HOPia, Guyancourt, France).
