3rd Annual Davis-Thompson Foundation Eastern European Veterinary Pathology Meeting

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, together with the Davis–Thompson Foundation, will organize the 3rd Annual Davis-Thompson Foundation Eastern European Veterinary Pathology Meeting. The meeting will take place from 25th to 27th May 2022 at hotel Sileks in the ancient and picturesque city of Ohrid, a UNESCO Natural and Cultural Heritage site in the Republic of North Macedonia. Lectures will be given by Dr. Monika Welle (Institute for Animal Pathology, Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Bern, Switzerland), Dr. Francisco Uzal (California Animal Health and Food Safety Lab – San Bernardino, CA, USA) and Dr. Trpe Ristoski (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Skopje). Next to the diverse pathology lectures the registration fee also includes a boat trip on Lake Ohrid, followed by a formal dinner for all the participants. Annual seminar of the French Society of Veterinary Pathology (SFAPV)

Current perspectives concerning soft tissue tumors  12th- 14th May 2022 / Virtual or hybrid (Maisons-Alfort, EnvA)  Guest speakers :Rob Foster (University of Guelph, Canada), Melanie Dobromylskyj (Finn Pathologists, Harleston, UK)  We are very pleased to have Dr. Rob Foster (University of Guelph, Canada) and Dr. Melanie Dobromylskyj (Finn Pathologists, Harleston, UK) as well as Dr. Benoit Riedinger, surgeon and Dr. Franck Floch, oncologist (AniCura TRIOVet, Rennes, France) as invited experts this year for our annual seminar. The seminar will be dedicated to the current perspectives concerning soft tissue tumors. This two and a half-days’ workshop will allow participants to discuss a variety of cases of soft tissue tumors pathology with the speakers and share their experience. Participants will enjoy case discussion through digital microscopy, as well as lectures. All attendees are kindly requested to provide soft tissue tumors pathology cases from their own daily practice in canine, feline (or equine) histopathology. The submitted cases should include complete clinical history, gross pictures if available and stained histological slides. Digitalized sections will be used during the seminar. On behalf of the the ESTP Executive Committee and the organizers of the 9th ESTP International Expert Workshop, the ESVP is happy to announce the next interactive webinar “Assessment of the Biological/Toxicological Relevance of Clinical Pathology Changes”. The webinar will take place on the 5th and 6th April 2022 and will present the results of the above workshop, in which a panel of 26 clinical and anatomic toxicologic pathologists have met in 12 preparatory teleconferences since March 2021.
